Reseal or replace? Run the math first
Plenty of homeowners see a chalky patio and start pricing replacement. Look at the numbers before you do.

New stamped concrete in the Denver metro runs roughly $12 to $22 per square foot installed, according to figures published by local concrete contractors. Industry cost guides like Angi put professional resealing at about $1 to $3 per square foot.

On a typical 300-square-foot patio, that's the difference between a four- or five-figure teardown and a few hundred to roughly a thousand dollars of maintenance.

If the concrete is structurally sound, no deep spalling, no heaving, no structural cracks, resealing gets you the restored look for 10% of the cost or less. If it isn't sound, we'll tell you that at the estimate instead of sealing over a problem.
